Today, I want to share a transformative experience that has profoundly influenced my perspective and fostered my personal growth.

I was entrusted with a significant legacy from my mother: the solemn honor of serving as her patient proxy, advocate, and power of attorney. This immense responsibility brought both blessings and challenges, yet I firmly believe there is no greater privilege than caring for the one who brought you into this world. This act is not just a duty; it exemplifies the highest form of love, reminiscent of the nurturing embrace of the person who first held you close. This journey allowed me to provide support for the one who shaped my very beginnings as I accompanied her through the concluding chapters of her life. Some sought to manipulate my mother’s estate for their own self-serving agendas, far removed from the love and respect she rightfully deserves.
